The moment has finally arrived, days from celebrating her one year anniversary with Prince William, The Duchess of Cambridge previews a beautiful Matthew Williamson dress. The dress epitomises both the Duchess's refined classic style and Matthew Williamson's unique knack for bright embellishments. The dress undoubtably marks a middle ground between Duchess and designer....I predict a sell out!!!
Lily is a British born beauty: daughter of musician Phil Collins, star of the Snow White adaption 'Mirror, Mirror', rumoured girlfriend of Zac Efron and not to mention owner of one of the most amazing sets of eyebrows around. It would be easy to place Lily with the 'Disney brigade' or the 'Nick Kids' but a mere child star she is not, Lily has journalistic tendencies and has written for British Elle Girl along with articles for Teen Vogue. Miss Collins reminds me of a Young Audrey Hepburn and she advocates this by her fashion choices, preferring bold boundary pushing gowns and choosing a wide range of prolific designers. Of course I am a huge fan of Matthew Williamson and anything he designs and it appears so is Lily but I have to say the Monique Lhuillier dress Lily wore to the 2012 oscars is her most accomplished moment. Most defiantly the fairest of them all...

For me this became apparent when Cara Delevingne starred alongside Eddie Redmayne and some sort of biscuit in the S/S 12' Burberry campaign, I was officially sold. If you think that by raffia I am meaning beige woven bucket bags that are strictly beach attire, then think again. My favourite raffia styled garment must be the shoes, I see raffia as a fashionable alternative to hideous cork heeled shoes. However I love that it has made it into clothing and is now being used as a texture. Please join the raffia mafia...
