Style Crush: Rosie Huntington- Whitely

Rosie Huntington- Whitely
is the British It girl turned model turned actress turned global fashion icon. Rosie perfectly epitomises Brit London fashion whilst twisting in her own 70s inspired look. Rosie is often seen in her favourite brands including Burberry, Isabel Marant, Zadig & Voltaire and of course Topshop. Like most British girls her ability to mix high end with high street is remarkable thus Rosie always creates an original and well put together outfit with a twist of bohemian which us Londoners are so famed for. Rosie is a new breed, a mixture between Bridget Bardot, Sienna Miller in her Boho phase with hints of Kate Moss and not to mention her own unique Rosie twist. One to watch I feel!
Here are some of her best looks!

Don't Make a Spectacle of Yourself!

The time has come again when I must spend hours trying, picking, purchasing and then trying again to find a new pair of glasses. Now the geek chic trend has been fully integrated into main stream fashion glasses are now the accessory no self respecting fashion girl will be seen without. With American series such as 'Mad Men" and the film "A Single Man" glamourising glasses it seems only natural for glasses to reflect this kind of trend a vintage feel to put on edge of ladylike chic. In terms of frame colour black is still acceptable however browns and tortoise shell are preferred!
Here are some of the best:

Tom Ford 'Single Man' Glasses
Also available in black this unisex frame has only just been released!
Chanel
Team with shorts, short socks and brogues for sweet chic attire!

Dior
The "Cats Eye" trend is huge across the board for eyewear!
Giorgia Armani
A slightly rounder style is good for slightly longer faces!
Gucci
This is larger style frame so girls with particularly small faces
should steer clear as they will end up looking like they are
in fancy dress!
RayBan
A brand new frame and about time, I was getting bored
of wayfarers in every colour, shade and size possible. This
cat eyes style is the perfect update for RayBan!

Tom Ford
The ultimate glasses of the moment and certainly not
for the faint hearted!

Style Crush: Gwyneth Paltrow

After a couple of years lying low looking after her adorable children Gwyneth has burst back onto the scene with some killer movie roles, a cameo in Glee, singing at the Oscars and talks of a new record contract. Once again it seems she is on top of the world, her body after 2 children is one of a woman half her age making her carefully chosen fashion choices look flawless. It is clear whether she is dressed up or dressed down that Gwyneth oozes old school hollywood glamour and has become the true definition of 'A' list.
Here are some of her best looks:

Dressed down
(1) Gwyneth rocks these stone
wash denims with an on trend
     white blazer creating a stylish
     casual look
(2) This second look shows Gwyneth in
a perfect 'safari' themed outfit. She manages
to not overdo it whilst staying true to her
age and sense of style, love the Tory Burch
      canvas booties
(3) Chanel resort jacket with
     delicate white shorts perfect
outfit for such a chic lady
(4) Another flawless outfit, with her
     perfect pins Gwyn rocks shorts
like no other! Love the Pucci
     sandals!

(5) My favourite Winter Coat
     of the season (Burberry) teamed
with classic blue denim, a crisp
     white shirt and a beautiful
     Alexander Wang tote. Classic
     American beauty!

Dressed Up
(1) Looking like the poster girl
     for Micheal Kors 'Hollywood'
in the dress from the campaign
worn with a fabulous Jimmy Choo
     clutch and of course Louboutins
(2) Looking fresh and crisp in Pucci
Gywn was onto white way before
     the fash pack!
(3) This Versace dip dyed dress
     shows off Gywn's flawless figure
     whilst showing she pushes fashion
boundaries and isn't afraid to show
some skin but she always stays
     sophisticated!

(4) In a Ralph Lauren Spring
     collection dress worn here
     with amazing Lanvin shoes
     complimented by her natural
     make up

(5) Trust Gwyneth to be ahead of
      the trend and already wearing
      next season's hottest colour
      'satsuma' teamed with nude
      heels all by Calvin Klein.
      Gwyneth is the perfect poster
      girl for simplicity chic.

Guide to Summer Shoes

As the temperature races up and down across England it is time to start thinking about putting those winter boots away and preparing your feet for the Summer months. This means pedicures of course, which subsequently means finding just the right toenail polish to go with all the fabulous sandals and peep toes which will be everywhere in a couple of months. My advice, get out there are purchase your summer shoes NOW and then you can start wearing them immediately with black opaques until it is time moreover the temperature is right to release your perfectly polished pins and tooties!

Chunky Heels
Think textured heels in nudes, reds, oranges, yellows with gold details. These shoes will make a statement!
