Fashion Moment: Burberry

Every year Burberry is 'the' London Fashion week show to be seen at. Burberry is a quintessentially British brand that epitomises the British fashionista, chic yet classic with an edge. Christopher Bailey is currently at the design helm of Burberry and is the designer that every fashionista wants to be dressed by. Bailey came to Burberry in 2001 and is credited for turning the fortunes of the company around by bringing a fresh new image to the brand. He cast Emma Watson as the face of Burberry a young fresh face to bring Burberry out of the stone ages and so she did, Burberry has dressed the likes of Sienna Miller, Kiera Knightly and Mary Kate Olsen to name but a few. One to Watch: Pringle of Scotland

Gone are the days when Pringle was merely a frumpy cashmere jumper company that made really good socks! Tom Ford's protege Claire Weight Keller is now at the creative helm at Pringle of Scotland making the label a fashion force to be reckoned with. Think beautiful textured cashmeres with a fashion edge mixed with beautiful structured dresses and jackets in dark classic colours with the occasional flash of a seasonal colour! The days may be gone where Pringle was just a jumper company however it must not be forgotten that Pringle invented the argyle print which has been used for nearly a hundred years most recently at this weeks Christopher Kane's S/S 11 show. Pringle of Scotland has been growing rapidly as a fashion brand for the last 5 years but when Anna Wintour sat in front row of their A/W 10 show and the S/S 11 show this only confirmed that Pringle of Scotland has successfully made the transition to Uber brand!
