The Wedding Parade
Guests included everyone from the Beckhams, Elton John, Princess Diana's brother Earl Spencer, Princes and Princesses from across the globe, fashionistas and socialites. As Westminster Abbey began to filter all anyone seemed to care about was what they were wearing. It has been a fantastic day for British fashion with a majority of the guests opting for British designers! Take a look at the fashion highs and unfortunately lows of a beautifully British day!
Pipa Middleton in Alexander McQueen
A perfect maid of honour to her older
sister, she complimented the bride beautifully
Carol Middleton played her role as mother of
the bride in a stunning Catherine Walker pale
blue dress coat and dress. The designer was
a favourite of the late Princess Diana!
The Beckhams looked fantastic and almost
regal with David in Ralph Lauren (wish it was
a British designer) and Victoria in a Navy dress
from her own collection with a divine Phillip Treacy
pill box hat not to mention her customised Louboutin
heels
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie wore
delectable hats by Phillip Treacy
The Spanish Royals, Queen Sofia looked
regal in purple whilst Letizia opted for
pink sheath with a matching hat!
Samantha Cameron flew the flag for British
fashion label Burberry and did not wear a hat
instead opting for flowers in her hair
Chesly Davey looked stunning in Alberta
Ferretti off the shoulder suit!
And the Disasters
Tara Palmer Tomkinson looked like
a blue monster in royal blue, obviously
took the invitation too literally
Miriam Clegg looked like she was
going flamenco dancing in a strange
polka dot outfit with red feathers!
Take not from SamCam next time!
Meanwhile Princess Anne wore a curtain!
Here comes the McQueen
After months of speculation the moment when Catherine Middleton, the beautiful blushing bride stepped out of a vintage Rolls Royce finally arrived. The dreams of Fashionistas and Royalistas across the country were fulfilled when Kate chose British label Alexander McQueen's creative directer Sarah Burton to design the dress of the decade. Ms Burton created a stunning dress that was a tribute to the late Grace Kelly's wedding dress!

Royal Wedding Weekend Essentials!
Can you believe that the Royal Wedding is....TOMORROW! Obviously I am slightly over excited over Kate's choice of wedding gown, with Bruce Oldfield out of the running I would place my vote for McQueen however if I were a betting lady, I would of course choose Temperly! Second to Kate I eagerly await Mrs Beckham's choice along with first lady Samantha Cameron's all in all it promises to be a fantastic day for British fashion. So I took it upon myself to compile a list of quintessentially British items from British designers for the big day!
